Abu Halib died at Gaza's Nasser Medical Complex due to starvation and severe malnutrition caused by Israeli blockade.

According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, at least 125 Palestinians - including 85 children - have died from malnutrition and hunger-related complications since the start of the Israeli genocidal war on October 7, 2023. The ministry also notes that more than 260,000 Palestinian children under the age of 5 are in urgent need of food.

A man holds a child who has starved to death as a result of Hitler's New Order in Poland's Warsaw Ghetto in 1942.
