J&K Police Conducts Crackdown on Giran Vendors in Zainapora
Jammu and Kashmir Police, under the supervision of SHO Zainapora Nasir Sahab and SI Janjeer Sahab, conducted visits to several areas, including Raban, Chitragam, Nagbal, Dachoo and other adjoining areas, to inspect activities related to giran vendors.
During the visit, police officials interacted with vendors and issued necessary warnings and instructions to ensure that law and order, public convenience, and traffic regulations are maintained.
The police team also urged vendors and the general public to follow the prescribed rules and avoid any activity that may cause inconvenience or disturbance.
The J&K Police officials said that strict action would be taken against anyone found violating the law.

J&K Police Issues Strict Warning to Giran Vendors in Zainapora
Jammu and Kashmir Police, under the supervision of SHO Zainapora Nasir Sahab and SI Janjeer Sahab, along with their team, visited several areas, including Chitragam, Raban, Reshipora, Dachoo, Nagbal and other adjoining areas.
During the visit, the police team issued a strict warning to Giran vendors and directed them to maintain a proper register containing complete details of all persons from whom they receive Giran.
Police instructed vendors to record details such as the name and other relevant information of the person bringing Giran, as well as the vehicle/auto details, so that proper records are maintained.
Officials said that maintaining such records will help the police in case any theft or other criminal incident takes place, as the information can assist investigators in tracing suspects and identifying the source of the material.
The police team also advised vendors to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions, and specifically warned them not to accept Giran from underage or minor children.
Police further appealed to vendors and the public that if they receive any specific or suspicious information, they should immediately inform the police so that timely action can be taken.
The J&K Police said that cooperation from vendors and the public is essential for maintaining law and order and preventing criminal activities in the area.
