An 80-year-old man from Udharbond, Rathindra Purkayastha—also known as Gopal—has gone missing in Guwahati. He was last seen on Saturday, November 29, 2025, after 4:00 pm near Ashray Apartment, Namghar Path, Rangamanchapath, Beltola (PIN: 788036).

According to his family, Purkayastha stepped out for his usual evening walk but did not return home. A missing person report has already been filed at Dispur Police Station, and his daughter has appealed for urgent action to locate him.

Construction of New Greenfield Airport at Doloo, Silchar, will start from 1st December 2025.

According to Central Govt's Gati Shakti portal, construction of Silchar Greenfiled Airport will commence on first December 2025. Project Completion date is 30th November 2027. Total Project Cost: USD 174.78 mn.
