ED busts alleged Forex violations, seizes Rs 2.54 crore cash hidden in washing machine

The Enforcement Directorate seized ₹2.54 crore in unexplained cash during searches across multiple cities, including cash hidden in a washing machine. Companies like Capricornian Shipping and Logistics Pvt Ltd and Laxmiton Maritime allegedly sent ₹1,800 crore abroad via bogus transactions. Directors like Vijay Kumar Shukla and Sanjay Goswami are under investigation. 47 bank accounts linked to the entities have been frozen.
