इस बार मैं होली चुंगथांग के ग्रामीणों के साथ बिताऊंगा!

माननीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री Narendra Modi जी के नेतृत्व वाली सरकार ने हाल ही में देश के सामरिक महत्व के उत्तरी सीमावर्ती इलाकों के विकास के लिए केंद्र पोषित ‘वाइब्रेंट विलेज प्रोग्राम’ को मंजूरी प्रदान की है।वाइब्रेंट विलेज प्रोग्राम को वित्त वर्ष 2022-23 से 2025-26 के दौरान लागू किया जायेगा।इसके लिए 4800 करोड़ रुपये का प्रावधान किया गया है।यह देश की उत्तरी सीमा के सामरिक महत्व को ध्यान में रखते हुए महत्वपूर्ण है।इस कार्यक्रम से चार राज्यों एवं एक केंद्र शासित प्रदेश के 19 जिलों और 46 सीमावर्ती ब्लाकों में आजीविका के अवसर और आधारभूत ढांचे को मजबूती मिलेगी। इससे उत्तरी सीमावर्ती क्षेत्र में समावेशी विकास सुनिश्वित हो सकेगा। इस कार्यक्रम से यहां रहने वाले लोगों के लिये गुणवत्तापूर्ण अवसर प्राप्त हो सकेंगे।इससे समावेशी विकास हासिल करने तथा सीमावर्ती क्षेत्रों में जनसंख्या को बनाए रखने में सहायता मिलेगी। इस कार्यक्रम के पहले चरण में 663 गांवों को शामिल किया जाएगा।इसी कार्यक्रम के तहत आज मैं सिक्किम की दो दिवसीय यात्रा के लिए
बागडोगरा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डा,सिलीगुड़ी पहुंचा।चुंगथांग सिक्किम के मंगन ज़िले का एक गांव है।चुंगथांग के पश्चिम में नेपाल,उत्तर और पूर्व में चीनी तिब्बत स्वायत्त क्षेत्र,दक्षिण-पूर्व में भूटान और दक्षिण में भारतीय राज्य पश्चिम बंगाल है।
