✅ In a major development for the Indian space program, the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft is set to make a safe landing on the Moon's surface today. This landing is particularly significant as it will mark India as the first country to land a spacecraft on the lunar south pole.
✅The mission is seen as a redemption for the disappointment of the crash-landing of the Chandrayaan-2 lander four years ago. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has stated that the mission is on schedule and everything is going smoothly.

ISRO has taken extra precautions to avoid repeating the previous failure, including strengthening the spacecraft's legs, updating its software, and increasing its fuel capacity.
