Animal Helpline Shelter every life is important and we believe in a second chance ��� Our duty is to care for street dogs and other animals from overcritical conditions.

Animal Helpline Shelter is an animal shelter with the aim of providing timely medical aid to injured and ill stray animals. We provide them with better medical treatment by setting up medical sterilization camps in various parts of North Bengal. We also provide them with shelter and timely meals and when they are physically fit, they are released again to the streets. Apart from rescue, medical an

d shelter services, AHS also provides legal adoption and takes proper measures toward animal cruelty.

Requested to every caregivers to make enlightened decisions when seeking help for their precious stray kids, as their selfless intention to provide care can inadvertently lead to painful suffering, so let's choose wisely for their well-being.

Some so called compassionate rescuers attempted his dressing and applied the right bandage, releasing him back to the street, and the dog roamed for over 12 days with the bandage, causing his leg to rot, until a kind-hearted man rescued him and admitted him to our shelter last night, let's pray for his recovery 🙏🙏

"We are in urgent need of help to save the lives of 3 precious doggos who require immediate surgery to survive. Their condition is critical, and without prompt medical attention, their chances of survival are slim. The estimated cost of their surgeries and post-operative care is approximately ₹21,000, with each doggo requiring around ₹7,000.

We are grateful to one of our generous members who has already pledged ₹10,000 towards their treatment. However, we still need to raise the remaining ₹11,000 to ensure that these innocent lives receive the medical care they deserve.

দীর্ঘ একটা সময় অসুস্থতার পর আজ অনেক দিন পরে শেল্টারে এলাম, এতোদিন পর বাচ্চাদের দেখে ভীষণ ইমোশনাল হয়ে পরছিলাম, ওদের মুখের দিকে তাকিয়েই আবার সুস্থ হতে হয়। সবাই ভালো থেকো একটু শেল্টারের বাচ্চাদের পাশে থেকো, এতোদিন আমি না থাকায় শেল্টারের অবস্থা শোচনিয়। খাবার মেডিসিন সবই প্রায় শেষ। ঈশ্বর আছেন অবশ্যই সব কিছুর ব্যবস্থা হবে। তোমরা পাশে থেকো।

As many of you know, I've been taking care of animals in need at our shelter. Unfortunately, due to personal reasons, I had to take a break from fundraising and posting rescue updates on social media for the past two months.

However, I never stopped rescuing animals in need at my best capacity and as a result, shelter facing significant financial challenges. The shelter is running low on essential supplies, including food, medicine, and other necessities. I've spent all my personal savings to keep things going, but it's not sustainable.

Our Story

At AHS we do exactly what our name says –we provide help and shelter to animals. We rescue animals including birds and reptiles from dangerous, critical situations and provide treatment for their suffering, in and around Siliguri. Our work includes rescuing and caring for stray dogs and other animals from crucial situations. Wherever possible we return rescued animals to their natural environment, but we also provide a permanent home in collaboration with forest department, for the animals that can no longer survive in the wild. As human populations expands, wildlife comes under increasing threat. By rescuing individual animals and reintroducing them into protected areas in the wild, our work also plays a role in the reduction in human-animal conflict and conservation of the their species as a whole.
