And the final production schedule for , a documentary film by comes to a wrap.

Team has spent around 4-5 years in getting the best shots from different parts of the country and putting together the story of The Turtle Walker.

The life and times of Mr. Satish Bhaskar with turtles and his efforts for their conversation inspire us and will hopefully inspire many more people as they watch the final film once it is released.

We lost one of the walkies on the beach one of the days during the shoot. Well, kept dropping it during the shoot and it was a running joke in the team. 😛

After pinging it, we realised that the policeman had it with him somehow.

One kind person must have found it on the beach and gave it in to the police for safekeeping.

When we went to retrieve it from the police, the police inspector wanted a picture for documentation purposes, but then this was the photo they took.

Looks like just won Oscar and a thrilling thank you speech is next.

can’t keep his joy to himself at Mohit winning the award.

Haha, yeah, we do these jokes, mostly for fun, and also to keep everyone in high spirits during the tenacious shoot days.

Hope you find it funny too. 😅😂

The crew left this morning to the Rutland Island for some crocodile hunting.

No no, just kidding! 😅🙈

It is another day of picturesque scenes all around, no network for long periods, fear of rains or worse storms, 10-12 hours of shoot, leaving early morning to the selected locations and making sure we get enough footage as per the plan.

Satish Bhaskar’s innumerable findings around sea turtles, their nesting and turtle beaches all around India, have existed as the roadmap for a generation of turtle walkers to carry the mission forward.

Satish is also an avid photographer and always carried his film camera on his trips to the beaches. The result is a box full of photos from his time in the wild. To be featured in . 💛
