आग की लपटें भले ही किताबों को जला दें लेकिन वह ज्ञान को नहीं मिटा सकती ...

दुनिया का सबसे पुराना विश्वविधालय नालंदा विश्वविद्यालय ,

आखिरकार 831 साल बाद नालंदा यूनिवर्सिटी का गौरव वापस लौट रहा है, आज प्रधानमंत्री मोदी इसका उद्घाटन किया ।
माना जाता है कि जब खिलजी ने इस यूनिवर्सिटी में आग लगवाई थी तब ये तीन महीनों तक जलती रही और इस दौरान करीब 90 लाख किताबें और पांडुलिपियां जलकर राख हो गए थीं।

यह प्राचीन विश्वविद्यालय सदियों से खंडहर में पड़ा हुआ था।
