The famous Shiva Temple at Devalsari, is said to have been built in the 1600's, is surrounded by tall deodar trees. Six hundred years ago, the area had no deodar forests but was used to grow Jowari. The land belonged to Pujaldi, Bangseel, Kinsu and Theek villages. ❤️

Gartang Gali is situated at a distance of 90 km from Uttarkashi. Gartang Gali bridge was built in 150 years ago, which was closed since 1962. 

This wooden step bridge route named Gartang Gali was closed after the Indo-China war, but now it was neing opened for tourists. Pathans who came from Peshawar built this bridge 150 years ago at an height of 11000 ft.

जय माँ धारी देवी 🙏😇
धारी देवी भारत के उत्तराखंड के गढ़वाल क्षेत्र में श्रीनगर और रुद्रप्रयाग के बीच अलकनन्दा नदी के तट पर स्थित एक हिंदू मंदिर है। मंदिर में देवी धारी की मूर्ति का ऊपरी आधा भाग स्थित है, जबकि मूर्ति का निचला आधा हिस्सा कालीमठ में स्थित है, जहां उन्हें देवी काली के रूप में पूजा जाता है।
