Achabal-Shangus-Chittergul Road in Dilapidated Condition, Locals Demand Widening and Immediate Repairs

Anantnag: The Achabal-Shangus-Chittergul road is in a severely dilapidated condition, causing considerable inconvenience to commuters and residents of the area.
Locals have expressed concern over the poor condition of the vital road and urged the concerned authorities to take immediate steps for its repair and maintenance.
Residents said that potholes and damaged stretches have made travel difficult and raised concerns about the safety of motorists and pedestrians. They also demanded widening of the road to improve traffic flow and provide safer connectivity to the adjoining areas.
The locals appealed to the concerned authorities to inspect the road at the earliest and initiate necessary repair and widening work without further delay.
They said that timely intervention would provide much-needed relief to the people and improve connectivity in the area.
