How to Prune:
•Cut back new shoots: Cut back new shoots longer than 8 inches to three leaves above the basal cluster of leaves.
•Remove unwanted growth: Remove any vigorous, upright growth completely.
•Don't prune short shoots: Avoid pruning new shoots less than 8 inches long as they usually end in fruit buds.
