Was a ‘Bathroom Fall’ Just a Cover-Up for R**e and Murder?"
In a shocking incident from Safapora Lar in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, a 28-year-old married woman was allegedly r***d while unconscious and later died under suspicious circumstances. The woman had reportedly gone to her sister-in-law’s husband, a self-styled local healer, for treatment for a toothache.
Initial reports claimed she died after a fall in the bathroom, but post-mortem findings revealed signs of sexual assault and violence. Ganderbal Police launched an immediate investigation and solved the case within 24 hours, arresting the accused who allegedly tried to pass off the crime as a domestic accident.
