162 Bn CRPF Conducts Cleanliness, Plantation and Awareness Activities under Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign 2026
Kupwara: Under the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign 2026, 162 Bn CRPF organised a series of cleanliness, plantation and awareness programmes at various locations across Kupwara district.
The activities were conducted under the supervision of Sh. Krishna Singh, Commandant, 162 Bn CRPF, with the active participation of Deputy Commandant Mahendra Party, officers and personnel of the Battalion.
The Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign 2026 aims to promote cleanliness, environmental responsibility and public participation, besides creating awareness about the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment. Various cleanliness drives were organised at unit headquarters, camp locations, tourist places and other public areas.
As part of the campaign, a Swachhata pledge was also administered to all ranks of 162 Bn CRPF. Officers and personnel pledged to maintain cleanliness in their surroundings, avoid littering, encourage others to follow hygienic practices and contribute towards creating a clean and healthy environment.
Special Cleanliness Drives
Special cleanliness drives were conducted at:
1. Kariwan Park, Diver (Lolab), Kupwara
2. Children’s Park, Zangli, Kupwara
3. Kashmiri Pandit Colony, Natnussa, Kupwara, where sports-for-Swachhata and post-cleanliness activities were also organised.
