*Ehsaas International Trust Hosts Educational Rehabilitation Event*

Srinagar:- Ehsaas International Trust recently organized an Educational Rehabilitation Event centered around the theme of Higher Education. The event brought together over 250 aspiring students from Ganderbal and Bandipora districts. Representative from various institutions across India, including *Om Sterling Global University* participated and provided detailed information about their admission procedures and scholarship criteria.

The initiative aims to support students who face financial challenges or career uncertainties after completing their 10th or 12th grade, despite having enrolled in educational institutions. By offering guidance and scholarship opportunities, the trust hopes to empower these young individuals to pursue higher education.

Students actively engaged with representatives from different institutions, asking questions and seeking clarity about their academic paths. The event was deemed a success, with parents expressing their gratitude for the opportunity provided to their children. It is hoped that this event will open doors for these young aspirants, enabling them to build a secure future.

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUNG ASPIRANTS

Srinagar: 6 Aug CHINAR International hosted an Educational Rehabilitation Event in collaboration with Ehsaas International Trust under Higher Education Program. The event brought together over 200 registered students and their families from various districts of Kashmir. Representatives from six institutions from across India— Rayat Bahra University, Modern Group of Colleges-Mgc Campus , Ram Devi Jindal Group of Institutions , Om Global University (Haryana), Khalsa Group Lallypur, and Government Polytechnic for Women, Srinagar—attended the event and addressed the gathering about their procedures and scholarship criteria. The key note address was given by Mr. Hakim Mohd Ilyas, where he explained that the initiative supports students who, despite enrolling in educational institutions, are unable to continue due to financial constraints or uncertainty about their career paths after completing their 10th or 12th grades. Students visited each stall to address their queries, and the event was successful. Both students and their parents were pleased to see their children presented with opportunities they had not previously had, providing them with a chance for a secure future.

*Residents of Bandipora Demand Desilting of Wasikhan Nallah for Irrigation*

Sumbal,21 June: The Residents of Nowgam, Zalpora, and Inderkote Villagers of Bandipora district have demanded immediate desilting of the Wasikhan Nallah, citing water shortages affecting their paddy fields.

They have also urged the intervention of the Deputy Commissioner to connect electricity from the Sumbal colony to the Wasikhan Pump Station to resolve the irrigation issues.

An Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) of Irrigation informed the media that seasonal employees have already been deployed for cleaning the Nallah.

He assured that further assistance would be provided as necessary.

However, he emphasized that the permanent solution lies in connecting the electricity supply from the Sumbal colony to the Wasikhan Pump Station for uninterrupted water supply to the paddy fields.

**Plantation Drive at Candles Garden Educational Institute, Bandipora, Led by Kashmir Concern and Green Kashmir Revolution and Parvaaz International Trust **

In a concerted effort to promote environmental conservation and sustainability, a noteworthy plantation drive was organized today at Candles Garden Educational Institute in Bandipora. The event was spearheaded by Kashmir Concern and Green Kashmir Revolution, under the guidance of Dr. Touseef Ahmed, Chairman of Green Kashmir Revolution, and Hussain Zalpori, Chairman of Parvaaz International.

Kashmir Timber Association held a plantation drive at l CHC Sumbal

Bandipora: 21 March: Kashmir Timber Association kick on Thursday held a plantation drive in the premises of Community Health Centre Sumbal area in North Kashmir's Bandipora district.

While speaking to media President (KTA) Mr Jameel Ahamd said that the aim of this plantation drive is to generate awareness among the people for the importance of planting trees.

He said Jammu and Kashmir is prone to various types of disasters, including frequent flooding, landslides and avalanches. "This calls for tree plantation on a large scale to curb deforestation and the resultant soil erosion which eventually leads to squeezing of water bodies. Plantation of trees can go a long way in mitigating the impacts of climate change, he said

Jameel emphasized the role of trees in protection of the environment and human survival and also urged upon all stakeholders including women the general public to plant more and more trees in this plantation season because without plants we are nothing.

Bandipora, 11 Mar: Winter Cosco Cricket tournament concluded at Sports Groud Naidkhai area in Bandipora district on Monday afternoon.

The Gounchipora sports defeated Zalpora sports in the tight Final match and lifted the title of winter casco cricket tournament which witnessed an enthusiastic gathering of cricket fans along with distinguished guests.

The closing ceremony of the event was graced by the presence of esteemed guests and dignitaries.
Chief Guest Of the event was Syed Showkat Andrabi Chairman of Gayoor Foundation, Dr Zaffar, Army Officer Captt Mayak, Senior Journalist Syed Tajammul, Khazir Mohammad Ganie Ex Sports Incharge Bandiopora.
The occasion was further honored by the presence of Founder and Chairperson of Care Foundation and Charitable Trust Ms Mehjabeen Nabi and other notable personalities of the area were also present on the glittering opening ceremony.

The students of New Crescent School Naidkhai and Global Wisdom Public Shahgund alongwith hundreds of spectators watched the live proceedings of the finale match which was played at sports ground Naidkhai and people of the area also encouraged players by their presence.

Tournament was organised by Care Foundation and Charitable Trust in which more than 32 teams from different villages participated in the tournament.

Speaking on the sideline of the event Chairperson Ms Mehjabeen Nabi said that the main motive of this Winter Cosco cricket tournament was to encourage the girls to take up sports as a career, It left a lasting impression on both participants and spectators, exemplifying the power of sports in fostering positive social change.

She further said that the Care Foundation and Charitable Trust has always worked hand in hand for promoting sports, modern education, women empowerment and various other noble activities for development in the Kashmir valley.

Meanwhile, the players Thanked Chairperson Mehjabeen Nabi and expressed their gratitude towards Care Foundation and Charitable Trust for organising such tournaments in their area.

Players hoped that more tournaments should be conducted in the near future also for them because games and sports are the best means of fitness.

However' locals of the area appreciated the efforts of Care Foundation and Charitable Trust and said that such events not only showcased the local talent but also give boost to the sports activities in the far flung areas.

At the end of the finale match prizes were distributed among the players chief guests and journalists of the function.

Baramullah,19 Nov: Paying glowing tributes to renowned social activist late Master Shabir Ahmad Yatoo on his 1st death anniversary, on Sunday at Sultanpora Pattan area in Baaramulla district wherein a large number of people paid tributes to him across valley. Organised by Aasra foundation Kashmir in Collaboration with intizaamya committee sultanpora .

In this connection, a special congregation was held at imam bada Sultanpora Pattan.
