Two Hajj Pilgrimages in 2039 – A Rare Moment in Islamic History
According to astronomers, the year 2039 may witness a unique event where Muslims could perform Hajj twice in the same Gregorian year. One Hajj is expected in the first 10 days of January, and another in the last 10 days of December.
This rare alignment happens because the Islamic lunar calendar is about 11 days shorter than the Gregorian calendar, causing Islamic dates to shift earlier every year.
Because of this, three Eids may occur in 2039:
✨ Two Eid al-Adha
✨ One Eid al-Fitr
A truly remarkable reminder of how the Islamic calendar moves through the seasons over time. SubhanAllah! 🤍
