JKCLUF met with State President BJP, Sat Sharma.

Sharma assured that he will discuss this issue with the high command of BJP and with Union Government also.

Jammu Apr. 18: Today daily wagers from different departments under the banner of Jammu Kashmir Casual Labour United Front (JKCLUF) led by President JKCLUF, Tanveer Hussain met a State President BJP, Sat Sharma and discussed the issues of daily wagers including regularization, Minimum Wages Act and those which are stuck in the online process of various departments.

The leaders of the Front appealed to Sat Sharma to raise our issue at the party level as well as before the central government, so that the people who have been serving for years can get justice.

Front leaders told to Sat Sharma that some of our people who were daily wagers have died and some who were daily wagers have died and some are about to die. For so many years no one is listening to these people, Front appealed to you that J&K is a union territory and now the union government can intervene in this matter and give the daily wagers their rights.

During this, Sat Sharma assured the delegation that he will discuss this issue with the high command of BJP and will raise this issue before the J&K BJP leadership as well as the Union Government. Sharma also said that he understands the pain of daily wagers and always stands with them.

Sat Sharma said that he will come alongwith Party MLA's to the Mahapanchayat that the Front is going to hold on 21st & 22nd April and raise the voice of daily wagers.

PDD Daily Wager Lineman Succumbs to Injuries at SKIMS, 5 Days After Falling from Electric Pole in Pampore

```👉⭕Pampore, April 09:
A lineman working on daily wages with the Power Development Department (PDD), Sub-Division Pampore, has succumbed to injuries he sustained after falling from an electric pole in the Saffron Town area of Pampore in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Reports reaching Sachnews Jammu Kashmir revealed that the lineman, identified as Mohammad Yousuf Dar, a resident of Gooripora Barsoo village, was repairing an electric line when he accidentally fell from a pole in the Frestabal area of Pampore on April 5 (Saturday).

Dar was immediately rushed to the Sub-District Hospital Pampore and later referred to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar, for advanced treatment. However, despite all efforts, he succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday evening, an official informed Sachnews Jammu Kashmir.

The Assistant Executive Engineer, along with other officials and field staff of the Electric Division Pampore, visited the hospital soon after the incident to express their concern and support for the injured worker, officials said.

Assistant Executive Engineer of Sub-Division Pampore, Er. Mohammad Iqbal, told Sachnews that Mohammad Yousuf Dar, a PDL worker critically injured on duty on April 5, passed away around 5 PM on Wednesday at SKIMS Soura, Srinagar.

Dar had remained admitted to SKIMS since the day of the accident.

A pall of gloom descended on Gooripora village in Pulwama district as the news of Dar’s death spread in his native area.

Meanwhile, hundreds of people, including PDD officials, participated in the last rites of the deceased lineman held in his native village of Gooripora.```
