میں محمد رمضان ڈار صاحب کو اوقافِ اسلامی ہندواڑہ کے صدر کی حیثیت سے ایک بار پھر منتخب ہونے پر دل کی عمیق گہرائیوں سے دلی مبارکباد پیش کرتا ہیں۔

یہ کامیابی صرف ایک شخص کی نہیں، بلکہ ایمان، خلوص، قربانی اور عوامی اعتماد کی ایک زندہ علامت ہے۔سنہ 2022 میں جب رمضان صاحب کو پہلی مرتبہ صدر منتخب کیا گیا، تب سے آج تک انہوں نے یہ ثابت کیا ہے کہ وہ صرف ایک رہنما نہیں، بلکہ ایک درد دل رکھنے والے عاشقِ دین، مخلص خادم، اور بے لوث رہبر ہیں۔

اپنی ذاتی مصروفیات اور خاندانی کاروبار کو خیرآباد کہہ کر انہوں نے خود کو اوقافِ اسلامی کے مشن کے لیے وقف کر دیا۔ دن ہو یا رات، گرمی ہو یا سردی، وہ ہر لمحہ خدمت میں مصروف رہے۔ ان کی قیادت میں مرکزی جامع مسجد جدید کا خواب حقیقت کا روپ دھارتا گیا۔ آج اس منصوبے کی تعمیر کروڑوں روپے سے تجاوز کر چکی ہے—مگر سفر ابھی باقی ہے، منزل ابھی دور ہے۔

وہ صرف اینٹیں نہیں لگا رہے، وہ عبادت، اخلاص اور ایمان کی بنیادیں رکھ رہے ہیں۔ ان کی ہر لمحے کی محنت نے ہندواڑہ میں نہ صرف ایک عظیم مسجد کھڑی کی ہے، بلکہ روحانی بیداری، اتحادِ امت، اور دینی شعور کا چراغ بھی روشن کیا ہے۔

ایسے دور میں جہاں ذاتی مفاد کو فوقیت دی جاتی ہے، وہاں رمضان صاحب کی قربانی اور اخلاص ایک روشن مثال ہے۔ وہ آج بھی سر اٹھا کر کھڑے ہیں، اپنی سچائی، دیانت اور خلوص کے ساتھ۔

ہم دعا گو ہیں کہ اللہ رب العزت ان کو مزید طاقت، صحت، عزم اور حوصلہ عطا فرمائے تاکہ وہ اپنے مشن کو مزید بلندیوں تک لے جائیں۔

دلوں کی دعائیں اور آنکھوں کی نمی گواہ ہے کہ آپ نے صرف مسجد نہیں، امیدیں تعمیر کی ہیں۔

اللہ آپ کو سلامت رکھے، آپ کا سایہ ہم پر قائم و دائم رہے۔

Khalsa Dharmik Panchayat (KDP) – A Beacon of Community Justice in Baramulla.

In a society where access to justice is often hindered by poverty, lengthy procedures, and high litigation costs, the Khalsa Dharmik Panchayat (KDP) stands as a vital alternative for equitable dispute resolution within the Sikh community of Jammu and Kashmir. Established in 2020 under the aegis of the District Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (DGPC) Baramulla, the KDP was founded to address growing family and civil disputes by providing free, impartial, and community-based dispute resolution services.

Spearheaded by Dr. Tara Singh and Er. Nirmal Singh, KDP operates as a non-profit, voluntary body, rooted in the values of justice, service, and community welfare. Originally based at Gurdwara Chevin Patshahi, Baramulla, the organization has since expanded its reach across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Its central office now functions from Gurdwara/Ashram Sant Thakur Bhai Rocha Singh Ji, Deewan Bagh Baramulla, under the spiritual patronage of Mahant Manjit Singh Ji of Shromani Dera Santpora Nangali Sahib, Poonch.

The impact of KDP is both meaningful and measurable. Out of 15 registered cases, the Panchayat has successfully resolved 13 disputes, showcasing the efficacy of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms in promoting social harmony and timely justice. The KDP model resonates with the spirit of Article 39A of the Indian Constitution, which mandates equal justice and free legal aid, especially for the marginalized.

Firmly grounded in impartiality, community service, and accessibility, the Khalsa Dharmik Panchayat continues to emerge as a reliable, culturally rooted alternative to formal litigation, reaffirming the Sikh principles of seva (selfless service) and nyay (justice).

For 45 Years, He Bids Farewell to Hajj Pilgrims – But Has Never Been on the Journey Himself

Srinagar, May 4: For nearly half a century, Abdul Rahman Kumar of Dalgate, Srinagar, has stood among crowds at the Hajj departure points, offering prayers, shedding tears, and bidding emotional farewells to pilgrims heading for the sacred journey. But despite his devotion and deep longing, he has never had the opportunity to perform Hajj himself.

Every year, without fail, Kumar, now in his 70s, comes to see off the departing pilgrims. Clad in simple clothes and a worn-out smile, he raises his hands in prayer and wishes the travelers well. "It gives me peace," he says quietly, "to be near those chosen by Allah for this holy journey, even if I’m not among them."

Living a life of poverty, Kumar has never been able to afford the pilgrimage. Yet his faith remains unwavering. His presence has become a familiar and comforting sight to many local pilgrims over the years, some of whom now look for him before boarding their flights.

"I always ask them to remember me in their prayers when they reach Makkah," he says, his voice heavy with emotion. "Maybe someday, someone will remember me enough for Allah to open a way."

Kumar’s story is one of quiet devotion, resilience, and a longing that spans decades. As another Hajj season approaches, he will once again take his place among the well-wishers — still hopeful, still praying, still waiting.
