Allah does not need your prayer. Allah does not need your obedience. You need it.⁠ Every sujood, every act of worship — it was never for Him. It was always for you. He could have given everyone wealth Himself, but He chose to give some more than others so we could learn what it means to depend on Him, and what it means to give to one another.

Surah Ad-Duḥā reminds us that difficult times are temporary and that Allah never forgets His servants. Allah says, “Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased.” (93:3). He reminds the Prophet ﷺ of His past blessings and promises that the future will be better than the past. The surah teaches us to trust Allah during hardship, remember His favors, care for orphans and those who ask for help, and speak about Allah’s blessings with gratitude. It is a beautiful reminder that after every period of darkness, Allah brings light and relief to those who place their trust in Him. 🤍
