_*Sewa Parv 2025 Celebrated in Bijbehara*_
_Bijbehara, September 19, 2025:_
*The Tehsil Administration Bijbehara today celebrated Sewa Parv 2025 with great enthusiasm and strong public participation. The event, held under the supervision of Tehsildar Bijbehara Mr. Sajjad Parvaiz, saw involvement from Naib Tehsildars, revenue officials, petition writers, stamp vendors, lambardars, chowkidars, and members of the general public.*
_*As part of the programme:*_
*An attestation of mutation camp was organized, enabling citizens to get mutation documents certified on the spot.*
*Several online/digital certificates were issued, helping people access services more conveniently.*
*A digital awareness session was held, educating attendees about the benefits of online services and how to use them.*
*The importance of Swachhta (cleanliness & sanitation) was emphasized through awareness activities.*
During the programme, *Worthy Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, Dr. Syed Fakruddin Hamid (IAS),* visited the venue, inspected the ongoing activities, distributed several certificates to applicants, and reviewed the mutation attestation process. His presence further encouraged officials and participants to work with dedication and efficiency.
The programme highlighted the government’s vision of public service, transparency, and citizen-centric governance. Officers interacted with citizens, heard their grievances, and assured timely redressal. The public expressed happiness and appreciation for the smooth coordination and citizen-friendly approach of the Tehsil Administration.
Speaking on the occasion, Tehsildar Bijbehara stressed the significance of Sewa Parv in strengthening the bond between administration and citizens. He urged all officials to continue adopting a service-oriented approach and reaffirmed the administration’s dedication to accountability, efficiency, and accessibility.
The programme concluded with a joint pledge by officials and residents to work together toward improving governance, ensuring better delivery of services at the grassroots, and maintaining participatory accountability.
