Visually Impaired Woman from Kulgam Appointed Assistant Professor at University of Kashmir

Rohi Jan, a resident of Hanjan in Kulgam district, has been appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Education at the University of Kashmir. Despite living with 100% visual disability, she achieved this milestone through sheer determination and hard work. Her accomplishment is being widely celebrated as an inspiration and a proud moment for the disability community.

With profound sadness and grief we announce the passing of Mrs Aamina Dar, W/o late Mr Ghulam Mohammad Dar, resident of 5 A, behind Zam Zam Building, Rambagh, Srinagar.

Surrounded by her loved ones, she passed away peacefully after a brief period of illness on March 29, 2025 (Ramzan 28, 1446) .

Her congregational Fateh Khawani shall be held on Tuesday at our ancestral Graveyard (Magarmal Bagh, Srinagar ) at 2.30 P.M.
