Chinar Corps of Indian army launched modern ‘Mini Auditorium’ to boost border tourism in Uri sector of Baramulla. The opening of the Mini Auditorium at Kaman Aman Setu Post provides a state of the art venue for screening historic, cultural and educative videos / movies for visiting tourists and is also a suitable venue for organising local events, performances and educational programs. The establishment of this new Mini Auditorium at Kaman Aman Setu Post in Uri is a major step by the Chinar Corps of Indian Army to once again revive and promote border tourism in the area. Kaman Aman Setu Post was opened to the public as a Tourist Facility Centre in early 2023 and has since grown as a popular tourist destination. Equipped with state of art sound and lighting system, this 35-seater auditorium also aims to foster creativity, learning and community engagement by hosting a wide range of events from cultural performances to skill-building workshops.

J&K’s Bandipora set to get first research based goat farm.

Construction work on first research based goat farm is in full swing at Bandipora in North Kashmir. It is a first-of-its-kind goat farming facility focused on research and production. The project, with an estimated cost of ₹8 crores, will boost rural economy, enhance livestock quality, and offer new employment opportunities. Around 450 Swiss Alpine goats will be brought in the goat farm. These goats are known for their high productivity, docile nature, and greater milk and meat yield compared to our local breeds. Locals have thanked J&K govt for construction for such initiative to develop research farm in Bandipora.
