Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman said,
"People used to ask the Prophet (sal-Allaahu 'alayhe wa sallam) about
good things, but I used to ask him about bad things because I was afraid
that they might overtake me. I said, 'O Messenger of Allaah, we were lost
in ignorance (Jahiliyyah) and evil, then Allaah brought this good (i.e.
Islaam). Will some evil come after this good thing?' He said, 'Yes' I
asked, 'And will some good come after that evil?' He said, 'Yes, but it will
be tainted with some evil' I asked, 'How will it be tainted?' He said, 'There
will be some people who will lead others on a path different from mine.
You will see good and bad in them." I asked, 'Will some evil come after
that good?' He said, 'Some people will be standing and calling at the
gates of Hell; whoever responds to their call, they will throw him into the
Fire.' I said, 'O Messenger of Allaah, describe them for us.' He said, 'They
will be from our own people, and will speak our language.' I asked, 'What
do you advise me to do if I should live to see that?' He said, 'Stick to the
main body (jamaa'ah) of the Muslims and their leader (Imaam). I asked,
What if there isno main body and no leader?' He said 'Isolate yourself
from all of these sects, even if you have to eat the roots of trees until
death overcomes you while you are in that state.' [1]"
'Abd Allaah ibn Mas'ood said:
"The Prophet (sal-Allaahu 'alayhe wa sallam) said, 'Islaam began as
something strange, and it will revert to being strange as it was in the
beginning, so good tidings for the strangers.' Someone asked, 'Who are
the strangers?' He said, 'The ones who break away from their people
(literally, 'tribes') for the sake of Islaam.'" This Hadeeth was narrated by
Ibn Majah on the authority of Anas and Abu Hurairah.

It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Buraidah that his father said: "The Prophet (saas) heard a man say: 'Allahumma! Inni as'aluka bi-annaka Antallahul-Ahadus-Samad, alladhi lam yalid wa lam yuwlud, wa lam yakun lahu kufuwan ahad (O Allah! I ask You by virtue of Your being Allah, the One, the Self-Sufficient Master, Who begets not nor was begotten, and there is none co-equal or comparable to Him).' The Messenger of Allah (saas) said: 'He has asked Allah by His Greatest Name, which if He is asked thereby He gives, and if He is called upon thereby He answers.'"

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Whoever has oppressed another person concerning his reputation or anything else, he should beg him to forgive him before the Day of Resurrection when there will be no money (to compensate for wrong deeds), but if he has good deeds, those good deeds will be taken from him according to his oppression which he has done, and if he has no good deeds, the sins of the oppressed person will be loaded on him."

Sulaim bin 'Amir narrated from Al-Miqdad, a Companion of the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) who said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) saying: 'On the Day of Judgement, the sun will be drawn near the servants, until it has come a mile or two (away).'" Sulaim bin 'Amir said: " I do not know if it is miles that refer to distance on the land, or Al-Mil which is used to apply Kuhl for the eyes." He (the Prophet (s.a.w)): "The sun will melt them, until they will be in sweat according to their deeds. Among them one will be covered up to his ankles, and among them will be one who is covered up to his knees, and among them will be one who is covered up to his waist, and among them will be one who is bridled with it.' I saw the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) indicating with his hand toward his mouth, meaning that one would be bridled with it.'" [Abu 'Eisa said: ] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih. There are narrations on this topic from Abu Sa'eed and Ibn 'Umar.
