📢 URGENT APPEAL: Clear E10/E20 Fuel Labeling Needed in Srinagar! ⛽
Vehicle owners across Srinagar are facing a major dilemma at petrol pumps. Due to the lack of clear signage indicating whether fuel is E10 or E20, consumers are unable to make informed choices regarding their vehicle’s engine compatibility and long-term performance.
We respectfully urge the Hon'ble Chief Minister's Office (CMO J&K), District Administration Srinagar, Legal Metrology Department, and regional heads of Oil Marketing Companies (IOCL, HPCL, BPCL) to step in and ensure:
⛽ Mandatory Signage: Prominent display of exact ethanol blending levels (E10 vs E20) on all dispensing nozzles.
🔍 Quality Audits: Regular inspections to ensure ethanol levels stay strictly within prescribed legal limits.
Consumer rights and vehicle safety must be protected through fuel transparency at the pump! 🚗🏍️
