Renowned Socio-Cultural Activist Dr. Tariq Ahmad Shera to Receive the Prestigious Uttam Bharat Puraskaar Award 2025.

Ashura Camp Organized at Alamgari Bazar by Shahr-e-Khaas Literary & Cultural Welfare Society

Srinagar, July 6, 2025 – On the solemn occasion of Ashura, the Shahr-e-Khaas Literary & Cultural Welfare Society, in collaboration with Angel’s Cultural Academy, organized a **one-day camp at Alamgari Bazar, Srinagar. The initiative was aimed at commemorating the sacrifices of Muharram through acts of community service.

Led by Dr. Tariq Ahmad Shera, President of the Society, the volunteers distributed juices and water bottles among mourners and the general public. Dr. Shera emphasized the importance of Ashura as a symbol of sacrifice, resilience, and service to humanity. He also announced that the camp would be held annually to uphold the spirit of Muharram.

Prominent Guests & volunteers including Abdul Hamid Akhoon, Farooq Ahmad,Hakeem Manzoor Ahmad , Nazir Ahmad Salmani, Hakeem Farhaal Manzoor ,Hakeem Mowhid Manzoor, Syed Zulfkar, Sahil Fayaz,Musaib Tariq,Arif Majeed and Ahsan Firdous, contributed to the smooth ex*****on of the camp.
