Expired Fitness Certificate Exposes Gross Negligence in Kunzer School Bus Accident

SRINAGAR, Sept 27: A major road safety scandal has surfaced after a school bus (JK01AG6711) ran over several cattle on the Kunzer highway, with official records now confirming that the vehicle was operating illegally without a valid Fitness Certificate and Permit.

The bus, meant for transporting students, had its Fitness Certificate expire on June 19, 2025 and Permit lapse on July 19, 2025, according to RTO records — a direct violation of the Motor Vehicles Act. Viral images from the accident scene show the yellow bus with a dead animal beneath its bumper, sparking outrage and renewed calls for stricter enforcement of school transport safety rules.

Experts warn that such lapses pose a serious threat to student safety. “If a vehicle is unfit to be on the road, it should never be carrying children,” said a road safety advocate. Authorities are now under pressure to investigate how the bus continued operations despite expired documents.

*Police Arrest ‘man’ for Sodomizing, R**e of Three Minors in central Kashmir*

Srinagar, September 25 Budgam police have arrested a man in Beerwah after a parent lodged a complaint at Police Station Beerwah in central Kashmir for allegedly to have sodomized two minor boys and r***d a minor girl.

Following the complaint, a police officer told that Police Station Beerwah registered FIR No. 134/2025 under multiple stringent provisions. These include Sections 5 and 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, Section 351(2) and Section 65(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
He said that the accused person has been taken into custody and the investigation has been set into motion. Verification of the accused’s age and collection of evidence are underway. “Strict legal action will follow once facts are fully established,” the official told Kashmir Dot Com.
According to initial reports, the accused is alleged to have sodomized two minor boys and r***d a minor girl.

*_Renowned Social Activist Ajaz Dhobi Along with Hundreds of Pulwama Youth Joins BJP_*

22 September 2025, Srinagar: In a significant political development, renowned social activist, Co-Founder of Awaam Ki Awaaz and former Councillor Pulwama, Ajaz Dhobi, along with hundreds of enthusiastic youth from Pulwama, today formally joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
