The annual Urs Mubarak of Qalandar-e-Zaman Faqeer Mohammad Maqbool Bhat Sahib (RA) will be observed on October 5, 2026, with religious devotion and respect at his shrine in Katrasoo village of Kulgam district, located around seven kilometres from Kulgam town.

Faqeer Mohammad Maqbool Bhat Sahib (RA), respectfully known as “Maag Soub,” is remembered as a renowned Sufi saint associated with the spiritual tradition of Tasawuf. His teachings emphasised spirituality, unity, brotherhood, devotion and service to humanity.

According to the organisers, devotees from different areas are expected to visit the shrine to participate in the annual observance and pay their respects.

The programme will include a day-long Mehfil-e-Sama, along with Durood-o-Azkaar, Naat-o-Manajaat and special prayers at the shrine. A night-long spiritual gathering, including Shab-e-Khwani and Kashmiri Sufi Qawwali, is also scheduled as part of the Urs observance.

The Intizamiya Committee of Ziyarat Shareef has made arrangements for devotees and will also provide food during the programme.

The committee has invited devotees to participate in the Urs Mubarak and join the spiritual gatherings associated with the occasion. It has also appealed to visitors to maintain peace, discipline and the sanctity of the shrine throughout the programme.

The organisers said that any violation of the arrangements or disturbance during the religious gathering would be dealt with according to the rules laid down by the management committee.

The Urs is expected to bring together devotees to remember the spiritual teachings and legacy of Faqeer Mohammad Maqbool Bhat Sahib (RA) and to reflect on the values of faith, unity, peace and brotherhood.

The annual Urs Mubarak of Hazrat Mir Syed Yaqoob Sahib (RA) will be observed at Sonwar, Srinagar, with religious devotion and spiritual reverence. The programme has been issued by the Central Waqf Office, Sonwar, under the Jammu & Kashmir Waqf Board.

According to the programme, the Urs-related activities will begin on September 24, 2026, and continue through a series of religious gatherings, including Khatmat, Durood-o-Azkar and Wazaif.

On September 24, Khatmat, Durood-o-Azkar and Wazaif will be organised during the day as part of the Urs preparations.

On September 29 at 10:00 PM, a special gathering will be held after Namaz-e-Isha, featuring Khatmat, Durood-o-Azkar, religious recitations and other devotional activities.

The annual Urs Mubarak of Hazrat Ghous-ul-Azam, Peer-e-Peeran, Hazrat Peer Dastgeer Sahib (Rahmatullahi Alaih), is being observed at Dastgeer Sahib Shrine, Khanyar Sharief, Srinagar, with a series of religious programmes scheduled from September 23 to October 2, 2026.

As per the programme details shared in the event poster, the observances include Shab-e-Ghousia, the display of Moi Muqaddas after prayers, and the concluding ceremony of Urs-e-Pak.
