*Chemists & Distributors Association Kupwara Holds Oath-Taking Ceremony; Pir Lateef Ahmad Re-elected as District president
*Kupwara, 11 jul 2026*: The Chemists & Distributors Association, Kupwara successfully organized an Oath-Taking and Certificate Distribution Ceremony for the newly elected Tehsil Office Bearers here today.
The event witnessed the administration of oath to newly elected Presidents, General Secretaries, and Treasurers from all tehsils of District Kupwara.
On the occasion, *Pir Lateef Ahmad, C/O Qadri Medical Agency, Kupwara*, was re-elected as *District President*. The other newly elected District Office Bearers include *Bilal Ahmad Zargar, C/O Zargar Medicate, Handwara*, as *District General Secretary*, and *Ajaz Ahmad War, C/O War Medicate, Handwara*, as *District Treasurer*.
The second session of the program was dedicated to the *Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan*. The association reaffirmed its commitment to support government efforts in building a drug-free and healthier society.
The ceremony was graced by several distinguished dignitaries including *Mr. Mumtaz Sahib, ACR Kupwara*, *Tehsildar Drugmulla*, *Mr. Arshad Hussain, President, Kashmir Province*, and *Mr. Raheel Sahib, General Secretary, Kashmir Province*.
Speaking on the occasion, District President Pir Lateef Ahmad expressed gratitude to all members for reposing faith in the new team. He assured that the association will continue to work for the welfare of chemists and distributors, uphold ethical standards in the pharmaceutical trade, and actively support public welfare initiatives.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks to the guests, office bearers, and members for making the event a grand success.
