With deep sorrow and grief, we announce the passing away of Mrs. Khalida Shafi, beloved wife of Mr. M. Shafi Akhoon, resident of Vethpara, Srinagar. She left for her heavenly abode today, 18th September 2025, following a sudden heart attack.

The Funeral Prayers (Namaz-e-Janaza) will be offered today at 10:00 PM at her residence in Vethpara, Srinagar.

We pray to Almighty Allah (SWT) to grant the departed soul the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and to bestow patience and strength upon the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss. Aameen.

Srinagar, | In a heartfelt gesture of solidarity and service, DDC Vice Chairperson Srinagar, Mr. Bilal Bhat, along with Chairperson Musuada Foundation and MF Productions, Mr. Umar Bhat, carried out a visit to the flood-affected areas of Nowgam convenor Musuada and MF Mawiz Muzaffar also the part.The purpose of the visit was not only to personally assess the difficulties being faced by the victims but also to stand by them in this hour of need.

During the visit, essential relief items including clean drinking water and other necessary supplies were distributed among the flood victims, ensuring immediate support to families who have been left struggling due to the calamity.

Speaking on the occasion, the leaders expressed deep concern over the suffering of the people and reiterated their commitment to continue relief efforts. They emphasized that Musuada Foundation, together with MF Productions, will remain on the forefront of humanitarian work, reaching out to the most vulnerable communities.

Mr. Umar Bhat highlighted that such initiatives are not just acts of charity, but a moral and social responsibility to serve humanity, especially in times of distress. He assured the victims that Musuada Foundation will continue to extend help, while also urging others in society to come forward and join hands in the noble cause.

DDC Chairman Aftab Malik today visited the flood-hit areas of Tengan Shalina to take stock of the situation. He was accompanied by the SDRF team and the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) to oversee the ongoing rescue and relief operations.

During the visit, Chairman Malik interacted with the affected families, assured them of every possible support, and directed the concerned authorities to expedite relief measures. He stressed on coordinated efforts between the administration, SDRF, and local authorities to ensure timely assistance to the residents.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Chief Minister also visited the area, highlighting the seriousness of the situation and reaffirming the government’s commitment to providing immediate relief and long-term rehabilitation to the flood-affected families.

Chairman Aftab Malik emphasized that restoring normalcy in Tengan Shalina is the top priority and every effort will be made to ensure that people do not face hardships in these testing times.

The patching and macadamization work carried out nocturnally yesterday by R&B Srinagar at Soitang is completely unacceptable. The quality of the material used, as well as the manner in which the work has been executed, reflects gross negligence and lack of proper monitoring. Shockingly, within just a single day of completion, the surface has already started showing visible signs of damage, clearly indicating that neither standard procedures nor the required specifications were followed.Local residents and prominent citizens of Soitang had contacted the DDC Chairman of Srinagar regarding this issue. The DDC Chairman Aftab Malik has acknowledged the concerns and has assured that immediate action will be taken. Specifically, he has already issued a directive on his official letterhead emphasizing the need for swift corrective measures.Taheen Farooq wani, a social/political activist from Soitang, was present at the site, along with Adv Adnan Magray , a prominent social and peace activist. Both of them observed the situation and expressed deep concern over the injustice faced by the local residents due to this substandard work.We strongly urge the District Administration and higher authorities to immediately inspect the site, hold those responsible accountable, and ensure.

*Awareness, Counseling & Felicitation Programme Held at Degree College Boys Pulwama under “The Right Path” Initiative*

*Musuada Foundation in collaboration with MF Productions* today organized a comprehensive Awareness, Counseling cm Felicitation Programme under its flagship initiative *"The Right Path"* at Degree College Boys Pulwama. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, social leaders, civil society members, and local stakeholders.

Over 300 students and participants attended the programme, which aimed to raise awareness around critical social issues such as drug abuse, radicalization, and youth mental health, while also promoting a positive and responsible community mindset.

A number of reputed social and psychological experts addressed the gathering, delivering impactful sessions focused on mental well-being, the role of youth in nation-building, and the importance of community vigilance.

The event also included a felicitation ceremony, where 20 young achievers from Pulwama district were honoured for their positive contributions to society and their inspiring journeys.

Prominent dignitaries graced the occasion, including *Dr. Sheikh Mohammad Ashraf (Additional District Magistrate Pulwama)* who attended as the Chief Guest, and *Mr. Umar Bhat, Chairperson and Director of Musuada Foundation and MF Productions*

Addressing the gathering, ADM Pulwama *Dr Sheikh Mohammad Ashraf* emphasized the crucial role of parents in safeguarding the future of the youth, especially in tackling the growing threat of drug addiction. He urged families to remain vigilant and involved in their children’s lives to ensure they remain on the right path.

Speaking at the event, *Mr. Umar Bhat* highlighted the vision behind The Right Path initiative to create a responsible, aware, and resilient society. He reiterated the foundation's commitment to conducting more such sessions, workshops, and skill development programmes across Pulwama and beyond.
