Scientific School Kupwara Celebrates Teachers and Parents Day
Scientific School Kupwara successfully hosted its annual Teachers and Parents Day event today at the school premises, bringing together students, teachers, parents, and distinguished guests to honor the vital roles of educators and guardians in a child's life.
The event was gracefully conducted by *Mr. Asif, a teacher, and Ms. Bisma of Class 7,* who served as the masters of ceremony for the occasion.
The event was graced by several esteemed guests, including the *Zonal Education Planning Officer (ZEPO) of Kupwara,* *senior journalist Yahya Sultan* , and *correspondents from Wings TV and Curtain Raiser.*
A key highlight of the day was the student speech competition focused on the crucial role of parents and teachers. The competition showcased remarkable talent and insightful perspectives from the young participants. The winners were:
* 1st Place: *Misbah ashraf of class 8th*
* 2nd Place: *Humaira khaliq Class 5th*
* 3rd Place: *Bisma mushtaq class 7th*
The ceremony also featured a vibrant series of cultural programs presented by the students, which captivated the audience and added a festive spirit to the occasion. The winners of the cultural program were:
* 1st Place: *Bhat uffaira* and her parents
* 2nd Place: *Adeeba* and her friends
* 3rd Place: *Hurmat wahid* and her friends
In recognition of their exceptional dedication and hard work, the " *Best Teacher* " awards were presented to *Ms. Saima, Ms. Ishrat, and Ms. Umrah.*
Additionally, on behalf of the school's parents' and management bodies, *Mr. Shahid Iqbal* was honored as the " *Best Principal of the School* " for his exemplary leadership.
All position holders in both the speech and cultural competitions were awarded prizes and mementos by the guests of honor. Speeches were also delivered by the dignitaries, who praised the school's efforts and emphasized the importance of a strong teacher-parent partnership. In appreciation of their presence and support, mementos of honor were presented to all the guests, including the chief guest.
