All JK Shia Association Holds Grand Majlis-e-Aza in Gongoo, Pulwama

Molvi Imran Reza Ansari recites Majlis, highlights Ayatollah Sistaniโ€™s recent guidance, and honours spirit of service in Imam Hussainโ€™s path

Pulwama, August 3: All Jammu & Kashmir Shia Association (AJKSA) organised a large-scale Majlis-e-Aza at Gongoo, Pulwama on Sunday, witnessing a deeply spiritual and emotional gathering of mourners. The program began with Marsiya Khawani that continued through the day and culminated in a moving Majlis delivered by AJKSA President Molvi Imran Reza Ansari.

During his address, Molvi Imran reflected on the recent fatwa by Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani, issued on 3rd August 2025, advising against placing his photographs on banners during the upcoming Arbaeen Walk in Iraq.

โ€œIt has been observed that some political and service-oriented entities are placing photos of His Eminence on their banners and posters displayed in public places, especially along the pedestrian route of Zaireen walking towards Karbala,โ€ he said, quoting the statement.

โ€œThe guidance is clear โ€“ the walk to Karbala is to honour Imam Hussain (a.s), not individuals. We must preserve its sanctity,โ€ he added.

Speaking on the blessings of Niyaz-e-Imam Hussain, Molvi Imran said it brings barakah into the homes of those who distribute it with sincerity and love.

โ€œThose who prepare and serve Niyaz in Imam Hussainโ€™s name are fulfilling a sacred tradition that carries reward in both worlds,โ€ he said.

โ€œThe people of Gongoo opened their homes and hearts to the Azadaars โ€“ may Imam Hussain (a.s) bless every family with His intercession,โ€ he prayed.

In his concluding remarks, Molvi Imran spoke of the sacrifices of Bibi Zainab (s.a) and Bibi Sakina (s.a) during the trials in Shaam, saying:

โ€œIn the face of tyranny and captivity, Bibi Zainab stood as the voice of Karbala while Bibi Sakinaโ€™s innocence reminded the world of the cruelty Yazid inflicted. Their courage is a moral compass for all women in Islam,โ€ he said.

Molvi Imran expressed heartfelt gratitude to the district administration for their cooperation in making the gathering smooth and dignified. He extended thanks to IG Kashmir, SSP Pulwama, DSP Headquarters Pulwama, SHO Pulwama, SHO Kakapora, DC Pulwama, RTO Kashmir and officials from Jal Shakti, KPDCL, CAPD, and Health Department for their proactive support.

โ€œAzadari in Kashmir is a collective duty and its smooth conduct depends on the coordination between the people and administration. I thank every official who stood with the people today,โ€ he added.

All JK Shia Association Organises Day-Long Majlis, Marsiya and Juloos-e-Aza at Nussu, Beerwah

Call for Unity and Commitment to Islamic Values Echoed from the Mimber

Nussu, Beerwah, Budgam | August 2, 2025:
The All Jammu & Kashmir Shia Association (AJKSA) on Friday organised a full-day Majlis, Marsiya Khwani, and Juloos-e-Aza at Nussu village in Beerwah, District Budgam. The day was marked with continuous Marsiya recitations by various Zakireen, culminating in a deeply moving Majlis-e-Aza delivered by AJKSA President, Molvi Imran Reza Ansari, followed by the ceremonial Alam Sharief procession.

In his address, Molvi Imran Ansari emphasised the importance of unity among Muslims, especially in todayโ€™s testing times. โ€œWe must not forget our history, and we must stand by it with belief and pride,โ€ he said. โ€œWhen we sit on the Mimber, we must uphold its sanctity and speak with loyalty to the truth it demands.โ€

Highlighting the legacy of Bibi Zainab (SA) and Bibi Sakina (SA), Molvi Ansari said their strength, patience, and unwavering faith serve as timeless examples for women today. โ€œThey were not just witnesses to Karbala but were pillars of resistance and dignity. Women in our times must draw strength from their courage.โ€

The Marsiya were managed on the ground by Zakir Majid Khawaja, who ensured the smooth conduct of the Marsiyas from morning till conclusion.

Molvi Imran Ansari extended heartfelt thanks to the volunteers who stood tirelessly throughout the day to facilitate the Majlis. โ€œMay Allah accept their service and reward them abundantly,โ€ he prayed.

He also thanked the administration and civil departments for their support, specifically acknowledging the cooperation of IG Kashmir, DIG CR Kashmir, SSP Budgam, and especially SDPO Magam, who remained present with his team throughout the day. Appreciation was also extended to DC Budgam, SDM Beerwah, Jal Shakti, Fire & Emergency Services, and Medical Department for their seamless coordination in ensuring a peaceful and organised event.

I called upon the writers to think about rewriting the history to correct the facts, which were distorted in the past. New generation must be made aware that our civilization was economically prosperous and it was also the global centre of literature, science and spirituality : LG Manoj Sinha
