J&K Resident Commission Hosts Workshop on Mental Awareness & Work-Life Stress
NEW DELHI, DEC 09: The J&K Resident Commission organised a workshop on “Mental Awareness & Work-Life Stress” in collaboration with MAAsterG. Expert doctors, including Dr. Sunita from MAMC, Dr. Siddarth, Consultant Dermatologist, and Dr. Rajiv Mehta from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, offered specialised guidance during the event.
Held with support from the AYUSH Dispensary under the supervision of Additional Resident Commissioner Anil Sharma, the workshop saw participation from around 100 officers and officials. The Additional Resident Commissioner expressed hope that the session will help staff better manage stress and assured that similar programmes will follow.

IUST Hosts DC Kulgam Under CIR Coaching Initiative
The Centre for International Relations (CIR), IUST, organised an interactive session with Mr. Athar Aamir Khan (IAS), Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, as part of its “Conversations with Civil Servants” series.
The event was presided over by Prof. Shakil Ahmad Romshoo, Vice Chancellor IUST, and attended by university leadership, faculty, scholars, and students.
Prof. Romshoo highlighted IUST’s commitment to academic excellence and its role in supporting students’ career aspirations through the CIR Coaching Initiative.
Mr. Athar Aamir Khan shared insights from his civil services journey and encouraged students to begin their preparation during university years,emphasising the strong academic environment IUST offers.
Dr. Syed Jaleel Hussain, Head CIR, stressed the importance of platforms that bridge academic learning with career goals.
