Soura Urges People to Use Online Appointment System

Srinagar 27 Mar: SKIMS Soura on Wednesday urged people, intending to visit the health facility for treatment, to make use of the Online Appointment System.

SKIMS Soura in a statement stated, "It is to inform masses in need to visit SKIMS for treatment in any speciality except for General Medicine and General Surgery are requested to make optimal use of Online Appointment System."

It was further said that the patients need to first register at the SKIMS MRD counter and then they can book an appointment online at the link https://patient-appointments.skims.ac.in/PatientAppointment/patientAppointment/index.

"Online Appointment link is available at SKIMS official website www.skims.ac.in.
Online Appointment System is a convenient mode for patients to save their time and also prevent overcrowding in OPD areas. Any patient facing any difficulty can contact OPD Incharge at Room No. 133," the SKIMS Soura said in the statement.

Govt of India To Consider Revoking , Withdraw Troops From J&K: Amit Shah

Says process for withdrawal of troops to be initiated after elections

New Delhi, Mar 26: Union Home Minister has said the Centre will consider revoking Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act from Jammu and Kashmir and that it has a roadmap to withdraw security forces in the Union Territory.

In an interview to Gulistan News, Shah said that the government will surely consider revoking AFSPA from Jammu and Kashmir in the future. “The situation is getting normal and we are speedily considering on revoking the AFSPA from Jammu and Kashmir and a state of change is being considered,” he added.

On being asked about decreasing the footprints of security forces in J&K in view of improved law and order situation, he said that the government has already drawn a roadmap for the withdrawal of troops and that the process will be initiated after elections. (kns)
