BUDGAM POLICE RECOVERS 68 KGS OF POPPY STRAW IN CHARAR-I-SHARIEF; ONE PERSON ARRESTED UNDER NDPS ACT

Today, as I retire from my service after 42 years, I find myself looking back at a journey that began when I was just 18 years old . Young, nervous and uncertain about what lay ahead.
What gave me confidence in those early years were the people who guided me, supported me and believed in me. I remain deeply grateful to Khursheed Alam Sahib, Fayaz Andrabi Sahib, Muntazir Mohiudin Sahib, Haji Nazir Zargar Sahib, Khan Mushtaq Sahib and Farooq Wachi Sahib. Their mentorship and encouragement helped shape both my career and my character.
As the years passed, my responsibilities grew and a new chapter began when I was entrusted with the leadership of the Employees Joint consultative Committee Kashmir. Representing nearly four lakh employees was not just an honour but a responsibility that I carried with sincerity and dedication. Along with respected colleagues like Abdul Qayoom Wani Sahib and Farooq Ahmad Trali Sahib, I tried my best to be a bridge between employees and the administration, raising the concerns of employees while working towards solutions through dialogue and mutual respect.

Looking back, I feel proud that I remained committed to the ideals of the employeesโ€™ movement and trade unionism. If I was able to uphold the dignity of that cause, it was only because I was never alone in this journey.
I owe special thanks to my friends and companions who stood by me through every challenge Qayoom Beigh Sahib, Ferouz Ahmad Najar Sahib, Noor Mohd Bhat Sahib, Manzoor Ishwari Sahib and more like a younger brother Muneer Phalguru Sahib. I am equally thankful to countless colleagues, friends, officers, employees and well wishers whose support cannot be captured in a single post.
As one chapter closes, another begins. Retirement marks the end of my official service, but not the end of my commitment to the people and employees of Jammu & Kashmir. With the same passion and with the continued support and blessings of my friends and well wishers, I hope to return on a larger platform to continue serving society in whatever capacity I can.
To everyone who walked alongside me during these 42 years thank you from the bottom of my heart.
This is not the end of the journey. It is the beginning of a new one.
