Still we are suffering as the Pandach to Wayil road remains incomplete year after year. Despite our efforts and requests, no solution has been provided. We request the concerned authorities to kindly take serious action and complete this long-pending road project. It is a humble appeal on behalf of all residents.

New Rules for Vehicle Registration Renewal After 15 Years

New Delhi, Aug 20:
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has issued new rules for renewal of registration of motor vehicles older than 15 years.

As per the notification, owners will now have to pay higher fees for renewal: ₹2,000 for motorcycles, ₹5,000 for three-wheelers/quadricycles, ₹10,000 for light motor vehicles, ₹20,000 for imported two/three-wheelers, ₹80,000 for imported four-wheelers, and ₹12,000 for other vehicles.

The rules will come into force from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. The ministry clarified that the fees are exclusive of GST.
