80th Independence Day Celebrated at Munsiff Court Complex Pampore
Pampore, August 15: The 80th Independence Day of India was celebrated with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm at the Munsiff Court Complex, Pampore.
The National Flag was hoisted by Ms. Uzma Amin (KCS Judicial), Munsiff/Judicial Magistrate 1st Class and Chairperson, Tehsil Legal Services Committee, Pampore, in the presence of members of the Bar, court staff, police officials and staff of the Tehsil Legal Services Committee.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Her Ladyship highlighted the significance of Independence Day and paid tribute to the freedom fighters whose sacrifices paved the way for the nation’s independence. She emphasised that the values of liberty, equality, justice and unity continue to form the foundation of the Indian Constitution and guide the nation’s progress.
Her Ladyship also highlighted the important role played by Legal Services Institutions in ensuring access to justice for all, particularly for weaker, disadvantaged and vulnerable sections of society. She stressed the need for greater legal awareness among the public and urged members of the legal fraternity and the court establishment to work collectively towards strengthening access to justice and promoting constitutional values.
The celebration was attended by Mr. Mohammad Noveed, Assistant Public Prosecutor, JMIC Pampore; Mr. Khalid Fayaz, SHO Pampore; Senior and Junior Advocates of the Bar Association Pampore; Court Staff; and staff of TLSC Pampore.
The programme concluded on a patriotic note, with the participants reaffirming their commitment to the ideals of freedom, justice, equality, unity and service to the nation.
