Hon’ble MLA Gurez, Mr. Nazir Gurezi, has expressed deep sorrow over the sudden and untimely demise of Mrs. Haseena Begum, wife of Mr. Tahir Ahmad Lone, resident of Kanzalwan gurez.
In his heartfelt condolence message, Mr. Gurezi stated:
“I am heartbroken to hear about the sudden passing of Mrs. Haseena Begum. Her untimely demise May Allah bless her soul with eternal peace and grant her the highest place in Jannah. My heartfelt condolences are with the bereaved family during this painful time.”
Mr. Gurezi prayed for peace for the departed soul and strength for the family to bear this irreparable loss with patience and faith.

Big News for Gurez
Thanks to the great efforts of Hon’ble MLA Gurez, Mr. Nazir Gurezi, the Government of Jammu & Kashmir has officially assigned financial powers to the Executive Engineers of the Public Works (R&B) Divisions in Gurez (Bandipora)
✅ These divisions are now designated as Special Divisions of the Rural Engineering Wing (REW) under the Department of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj.
As per the Government Order issued on 23rd July 2025:
The Executive Engineers are now empowered to:
✅ Approve Technical Sanctions for development works within specified financial limits.
✅ Conduct Test Checks of Bills under all schemes, in line with existing rules.
This marks a major administrative and developmental boost for the people of Gurez bringing services closer to home and reducing dependency on distant offices.

ائیے ہم مثل بلبل سے سیر گلشن کر چلے
لے لو مالی باغ اپنا ہم تو اپنے گھر چلے
انتہائی رنج و افسوس ہے کہ وادیٔ تلیل کی ممتاز، مایہ ناز سیاسی و سماجی شخصیت، سابق بلاک ڈیولپمنٹ چیئرمین حاجی غلام رسول لون صاحب (رہائشی: بڑو آب تلیل) آج اس فانی دنیا سے رخصت ہو گئے۔
مرحوم ایک نیک سیرت، خداترس، اور خدمتِ خلق کا جذبہ رکھنے والے انسان تھے، جن کی بے لوث خدمات کو ہمیشہ یاد رکھا جائے گا مرحوم کی وفات پر ایم ایل اے گریز جناب نذیر احمد گریزی نے ان کے گھر جا کر تعزیت کی اور گہرے رنج و غ کا اظہار کیا۔ گریزی کا مرحوم سے دلی رشتہ، محبت اور اخلاص پر مبنی تھا، جو ہمیشہ یاد رکھا جائے گا نمازِ جنازہ میں سینکڑوں افراد نے شرکت کی اور پرنم عشق بار انکھوں سے الوداع کہا۔

انتہائی افسوس ہوا سن کر وادی تلیل کے گاؤں گرٹ نالہ تلیل کے بزرگ، باوقار اور نیک سیرت شخصیت جناب لال محمد لون ولد حبیب لون اب ہم میں نہیں رہے۔
چند دن قبل میری ان کے گھر پر ملاقات ہوئی تھی، جب میں ان کی عیادت کے لیے گیا تھا۔ ان کی گفتگو، عاجزی اور شفقت آج بھی میرے دل میں نقش ہے۔
یہ خبر میرے لیے ذاتی طور پر بھی بہت دُکھ دہ ہے۔
میں سو گوار خاندان اور تمام اہل خانہ سے دلی تعزیت کرتا ہوں۔ اللہ تعالیٰ مرحوم کو جنت الفردوس میں اعلیٰ مقام عطا فرماے اور پسماندگان کو صبر جمیل دے۔
میں اس غم کی گھڑی میں آپ سب کے ساتھ برابر کا شریک ہوں۔
