ARTO , On the Directions of the J&K Transport Commissioner, carried out a major traffic enforcement drive, checking over 350 vehicles and e-challaning 67 for violations. Key offences included lack of speed limit devices, no seatbelts, overloading, and driving without helmets or Insurance.
Authorities seized 25 driving licenses, 4 route permits, and 1 RC for suspension. The expected penalty collection stands at ₹1.05 lakh. Officials confirmed that such drives will continue to ensure road safety and traffic discipline.
