بڈگام میں غیر قانونی کان کنی کے خلاف کریک ڈاؤن تیز، 34 ایف آئی آر درج

182 گاڑیاں و بھاری مشینری ضبط، 16 افراد گرفتار

بڈگام، 22 اگست (عارف بشیر وانی):- وسطی کشمیر کے ضلع بڈگام میں غیر قانونی طور پر معدنیات اور مٹی کی کان کنی اور نقل و حمل کے خلاف پولیس نے بڑے پیمانے پر کارروائی کرتے ہوئے گزشتہ چار ماہ کے دوران 34 ایف آئی آر درج کی ہیں جبکہ 182 گاڑیوں اور بھاری مشینری کو ضبط کرکے 16 افراد کو گرفتار کیا گیا ہے۔

پولیس کے مطابق کارروائیاں بڈگام، چاڈورہ، ماگام، بیروہ اور خانصاحب سمیت مختلف تھانوں کے حدود میں انجام دی گئیں۔ ضبط کی گئی گاڑیوں اور مشینری میں 3 ڈمپر، 80 ٹپر، 82 ٹریکٹر، 6 ایل این ٹی مشینیں اور 11 جے سی بی شامل ہیں۔

پولیس نے بتایا کہ غیر قانونی کان کنی اور معدنیات کی غیر مجاز نقل و حمل کے خلاف کارروائیاں چاڈورہ، ہمہامہ، خانصاحب، ہردہ پنزو، ناربل، وترہیل، سوئیبگ، بیروہ اور ماگام کے علاقوں میں کی گئیں۔

حکام کے مطابق غیر قانونی کان کنی کے خلاف کارروائی متعلقہ محکموں کے ساتھ قریبی تال میل سے جاری ہے۔ پولیس کی جانب سے ایف آئی آر درج کرنے کے علاوہ محکمہ ارضیات و کان کنی نے بھی خلاف ورزی کرنے والوں کے خلاف قانونی کارروائی عمل میں لاتے ہوئے لاکھوں روپے کے جرمانے عائد کئے ہیں۔

بڈگام پولیس نے کہا ہے کہ قدرتی وسائل کے تحفظ، غیر قانونی سرگرمیوں پر قابو پانے اور معدنی وسائل کے قانونی و پائیدار استعمال کو یقینی بنانے کیلئے آئندہ بھی کارروائیاں جاری رکھی جائیں گی۔

2006-batch IPS officer Vijaya Lakshmi has been appointed as the new Inspector General (IG) of the CRPF Jammu Sector.

She will be the second woman IPS officer to head the CRPF Jammu Sector.

Vijaya Lakshmi will replace 2004-batch IPS officer Amol Vinukant Homkar, who has been transferred to Manipur.
