Eid Ul-Fitr greetings poured in from across the region as MLA Shopian, Advocate Shabir Ahmad Kullay, extended warm wishes to the people on the auspicious occasion.

Stop using loudspeakers in masjids at night.

From 3 am many masjids switch on loudspeakers.
Most people cannot even understand what is being recited.

You disturb patients.
You disturb elderly people.
You disturb students preparing for exams.
You disturb workers who need rest.

Islam teaches responsibility.
Masjid Committees and Imams must act responsibly.

Use speakers only when required.
Keep volume controlled.
Respect the peace of your own community.

You will answer before Allah for every inconvenience caused.
