A 17-year-0ld boy from Sheerpora area of Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district d¡ed after receiving an electric sh0ck on Sunday, officials said.

A student of Class 11, sustained a severe electric sh0ck at his residence.

He was immediately rushed to the Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Pattan, where doctors declared him brought de@d.

He has been identified as Nasir Ahmad Baba (17), son of Ghulam Mohammad Baba, a resident of Sheerpora Pattan.

Meanwhile, cognizance of the incident has been taken.

An 18-year-0ld boy was lnjured after being with a sharp-edg€d weap0n in Qamarwari area of Srinagar on Tuesday, officials said.

The teen@ger was by an individual with a sharp-edg€d axe, leaving him in a pool of bl00d.

He said the boy was immediately shifted to SMHS Hospital in Srinagar for treatment, while his condition is not known yet.

The lnjured has been identified as, Numaan (18), son of John Mohammad Khanday, resident of Qamarwari,

Meanwhile, Police have taken cognizance of the incident, while a police officer said investigations have been taken up.

Man suffers heart after son c0llapses in his lap in J-K's Banihal

According to Mohammad Akhtar, an official from SDH Banihal, Shabir Ahmed Gania (45), son of Mohammad Akbar Gania, and his 14-year-old son Sahil Ahmed, residents of Tethar Banihal, were brought de@d to the SDH Banihal at around 6:45 a.m.

The heartbreaking incident has left the entire Tethar Banihal area in deep grief, with locals describing it as one of the most painful tragedies the village has witnessed in recent times.

A 22-Year-0ld woman was kllled in an near Larkipora area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday.

Awoman was kllled when an oil tanker hlt her in the Larkipora area. The de¢eased has been identified as Sonia Ashraf, daughter of Mohd Ashraf Naukoo, resident of Hakoora.

Her mother and cousin have also received mlnor lnjuries, who were being treated at GMC Anantnag.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.

At least three persons were lnjured in an alleged s¢uffle between street vendors and fruit buyers in Goni Khan area of Lal Chowk in Srinagar on Tuesday evening.

He said the trio has been shifted to the hospital and their condition is said to be stable.

One of them sustained lnjuries to his eyebrow and head after being with a sharp-edged 0bject.

He identified them as Owais Mukhtar Mir (20), son of Mukhtar Ahmad, a resident of Bemina Hamdaniya Colony and the other two as Fariq Ahmad (17), son of Riyaz Ahmad Reshi and Riyaz Ahmad Reshi (45), son of Abdul Gani Reshi—both residents of Mehjoor Nagar, Srinagar.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.

Two women from central Kashmir’s Budgam district were lnjured on Monday after being st@bbed with a sharp-edged weapon during a domestic altercation, officials said.

The victims, (names withheld) both residents of Ganie Mohalla, Budgam, were initially taken to District Hospital Budgam before being referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for specialised treatment.

According to attendants, the duo sustained lnjuries after being by a known woman inside their home. One suffered an lnjury to the left side of her upper abdomen, while another sustained a st@b w0und to her face.

Doctors at SMHS confirmed that both victims are out of d@nger. “They are st@ble and under observation. Necessary medical care has been provided,” they told the news agency Kashmir News Trust.

Police have taken cognisance of the matter and are verifying the circumstances that led to the attack. “The lncident is under investigation. Statements are being recorded, and appropriate legal action will follow.”.

The lncident has caused unease in the locality, with locals expressing sh0ck over the vi0lent episode.
