established in academic
session 2009 and offers
instructions at
undergraduate level
leading to 4-Year B.Tech
degree. These
instructions aim at
providing students a
broad based education,
with emphasis on
theory and practice of
Civil Engineering, in view
of the current and
future requirements of
the field and indust
ry. Field visits in the valley
and outside are
arranged for the
students at all levels to
acquaint them with
practical knowledge in
various areas of Civil
Engineering. The
Department is growing
fast in development of
laboratory
infrastructure enabling
it to carry out training
through state of the
art Civil Engineering

institutions within the

state lies in the seismic
zone V, a special
emphasis has been laid
on the course dealing
with earthquake
resistant design of structures. In view of
advances in surveying,
study of positioning
