Why Was Pulwama’s AMRUT 2.0 Drinking Water Project Dropped After Approval and Fund Release?

Under AMRUT 2.0, a ₹18 crore proposal for the drinking water supply scheme of Pulwama town was approved, and the first installment was released last year. It is deeply concerning that the proposal has now been dropped from the plan despite the DPR already being submitted to the Housing & Urban Development Department.

Requesting Hon’ble CM to personally look into the matter, as the Housing Ministry is under his charge, and ensure that the Pulwama proposal is considered this year and not allowed to become a victim of political victimisation. The people of Pulwama have suffered immensely over the years and deserve attention, dignity, and inclusive development to help heal long-standing wounds.
