State Bank of India, Kreeri Branch (RBO IV Srinagar) collaborated with various schools and colleges of Tehsil Kreeri to conduct a plantation drive.

On Saturday, August 30, 2025, a plantation drive was organized at Government Degree College Thindima Kreeri and Government Higher Secondary School Kachmuqam, during which around 400 saplings were planted. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the staff members of SBI Kreeri, as well as staff and students of Government Degree College Thindima and Government Higher Secondary School Kachmuqam.

This plantation drive, as part of the CSR initiatives of the bank, aims to enhance the ecological richness of the area and benefit the people by fostering a deeper connection with nature. It also reflects the bank’s commitment to addressing the challenges of climate change and inculcating the habit of tree plantation among the younger generations.

On the occasion, Mr. Ramneek Singh Bali, Manager, SBI Kreeri, thanked all the participants and emphasized that the bank is always committed to such initiatives in the future as well.
