Rapid fruit production is turning Kashmiri orchards into factories and farmers into machines. In the race for profits, it’s less about taste and more about timing.
We spray more, pluck early, pack quicker nature’s pace isn’t fast enough anymore. We’re no longer growing fruits, we’re actually producing apples with expiry dates. In chasing profits, we’ve lost the rhythm of nature completely and that will haunt us in future.

In Kashmir’s public transport, it’s not about finding a seat it’s about finding oxygen between ten armpits and many school bags bouncing on your face. You’re hanging by one toe, someone’s elbow in your ribs, and the conductor still yells,
“Seatti Khaelllee! - PakSaa Andar Kunnn!”
You go ahead like a fool… only to end up stuck between a gas cylinder and someone humming Bollywood songs.
At this point, it’s not transport it’s a survival game with background music.

Murder Suspect Arrested by Bagh-e-Bahu Police and Handed Over to Police Station Sadar Ludhiana Jammu, 13 April 2025 In a display of unity among law enforcement agencies in combating crime and apprehending criminals, Bagh-e-Bahu Police arrested an accused individual, Gurbachan Singh, son of Amar Singh, resident of Kanech Ludhiana, Punjab. During the investigation, the accused confessed that on 26 June 2025, he, along with four or five accomplices, committed the murder of Kuldeep Singh, resident of Sadar Ludhiana, Punjab, at Jata Chowki New Bypass Ludhiana. Upon the accused's confession, Police Station Sadar Ludhiana was contacted, and they confirmed that the individual was required in connection with FIR No. 157/2025 under Section 302/191 IPC. Accordingly, the accused was handed over to the team from Sadar Police Station Ludhiana. The local community praised the swift action taken by Bagh-e-Bahu Police.
