Rapid fruit production is turning Kashmiri orchards into factories and farmers into machines. In the race for profits, it’s less about taste and more about timing.
We spray more, pluck early, pack quicker nature’s pace isn’t fast enough anymore. We’re no longer growing fruits, we’re actually producing apples with expiry dates. In chasing profits, we’ve lost the rhythm of nature completely and that will haunt us in future.
