Advocates Umar Mushtaq and Urfana Mursalat Appointed to Key Positions in Kashmir Jurists Bar Association

Srinagar: The Executive Body of the Kashmir Jurists Bar Association (KJBA), High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, has unanimously approved the appointment of Advocate Umar Mushtaq as In-Charge Secretary and Advocate Ms. Urfana Mursalat as Publicity Secretary of the Association, with immediate effect.

Advocate Umar Mushtaq, son of Mushtaq Ahmad Mir, is practising before the Hon’ble Saddar Court and the Hon’ble High Court at Srinagar. His appointment is aimed at further strengthening the functioning of the Association and advancing initiatives dedicated to the welfare and professional interests of the legal fraternity.

The Association expressed confidence that the experience, dedication and professional commitment of both advocates will contribute significantly to strengthening the Bar and promoting innovative initiatives for the welfare of advocates.

The appointments were conveyed through an official communication issued by Advocate Syed Abid, General Secretary, Kashmir Jurists Bar Association, High Court of J&K and Ladakh (Srinagar Wing).

The Kashmir Jurists Bar Association congratulated Advocate Umar Mushtaq and Advocate Urfana Mursalat on their new responsibilities and extended its best wishes for success in their respective assignments.
