“Hybrid Terror Plot Busted in Sopore -
Two Shabirs Held With Weapons!”

A swift joint operation by Police and security forces in Moominabad Sopore has led to the arrest of two hybrid terrorists, identified as Shabir Najar and Shabir Mir.

Security forces recovered arms, ammunition, and incriminating material, exposing what officials say was a growing shadow network trying to revive terror activities in north Kashmir.

Investigation is underway.

CIK Raids Underway at 13 Locations Across Kashmir Linked to Jaish-e-Muhammad, Delhi Blast Case

The Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) on Thursday launched simultaneous raids at 13 locations across the Kashmir valley in connection with the ongoing investigation into the Srinagar Jaish-e-Muhammad conspiracy and the recent Delhi bomb blast case, officials said.

Official sources told news agency Kashmir News Corner --- KNC, the searches are being carried out based on intelligence inputs gathered by the J&K CID as part of a larger probe into the network suspected of facilitating the Red Fort blast earlier this week.

Several teams of CIK personnel are conducting the raids in coordination with local police and other security agencies. The searches are focused on premises of individuals allegedly linked with the proscribed outfit Jaish-e-Muhammad.

Sources said, The raids are part of intensified efforts to dismantle terror modules operating between Kashmir and other parts of the country. –(KNC)

A DNA test has confirmed that the man who carried out the devastating blast near Delhi’s Red Fort was Dr Umar Un Nabi, a medical professional from Kashmir. His body was blown apart in the blast, leaving investigators unsure of his identity until now.

Samples taken from his family in Pulwama district were later matched with human remains recovered from the car, confirming he was behind the wheel when it detonated, sources said.

Officials now link Umar to a Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) logistics module operating between Faridabad, Lucknow, and south Kashmir.

Driver Denies Hit-and-Run Allegation in Rambagh Accident

Srinagar, Nov 12, KNT: A woman sustained injuries after being hit by a vehicle in the Rambagh area of Srinagar.

The injured, identified as 57-year-old Mahtaba, wife of Ghulam Nabi and a local of Rambagh, was crossing the road when she was struck by a vehicle. She was immediately shifted to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for treatment.

While initial reports suggested it was a hit-and-run incident, the driver involved has refuted the claim, stating that he himself shifted the injured woman to the hospital and that it was not a case of hit and run.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further investigation to ascertain the circumstances leading to the accident. [KNT]
