🌙 “The Journey” — A Short Story

They met on a cold evening bus to the mountains. She carried a camera; he carried a map. Both carried a little loneliness.

When the bus stopped by a cliffside viewpoint, she almost slipped on the wet stones. He caught her hand, steady and warm.
That single moment changed something in both of them.

The journey continued—misty roads, quiet cafés, long stretches of silence that felt strangely comforting. They weren’t in love, not yet, but something gentle had begun to grow.

At the final stop, she said, “I don’t want this trip to end.”

He smiled softly. “Then let’s take another one.”

And somewhere between the fading sunset and the hum of the road, two strangers became a story.
