JKPC Holds Key Organizational Meeting at Namlan; Tanveer Ahmad Nominated Block President Narwaw

Namlan, June 7: A significant meeting of the Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Conference (JKPC) was convened today under the leadership of Mr. Abdul Gani Vakil, Senior Vice President JKPC and former Cabinet Minister J&K

The meeting was attended by prominent party leaders including YJKPC Vice President Baramulla Mohammad Zubair Mir,Mohd Hussain Khan (Constituency Secretary), Waseem Iqbal (Provincial Secretary), Muzamil (District Coordinator), Asif Maqbool (District Joint Secretary), Arshid Bhat (District Joint Secretary), and Ibrahim Malik (District Secretary).

During the deliberations, the leadership discussed key organizational matters and pressing public issues concerning the Narwaw area. Emphasis was placed on strengthening the party at the grassroots level, expanding public outreach, and addressing the challenges faced by the people.

On this occasion, Mr. Tanveer Ahmad was unanimously nominated as the Block President for Narwaw. The party leadership extended their congratulations and expressed confidence that he will work with dedication to strengthen the organization and serve the people of the area.

Workers and Helpers Join JKICDSWHA in Baramulla
Baramulla, June 07: In a significant boost to the organizational strength of ICDS workers in Baramulla, dozens of Sangnis, Sahikas, Anganwadi Workers (AWWs), and Anganwadi Helpers (AWHs) today joined the Jammu and Kashmir ICDS Workers and Helpers Association (JKICDSWHA) under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir Scheme Employees and Workers Welfare Association (JK SEWWA).
The joining programme was held during a meeting chaired by Dr. Abida War, who welcomed the new members and emphasized the importance of unity and collective action for safeguarding the rights and welfare of ICDS workers and helpers. Senior trade union leader Mrs. Afshan Je was also present on the occasion and addressed the gathering.
During the meeting, participants discussed various issues concerning Anganwadi Workers and Helpers, including service-related matters, welfare measures, and the need for strengthening the organizational network at the grassroots level.
To further enhance the functioning of the association in the district, organizational responsibilities were assigned to several members. The leaders reiterated their commitment to raising the concerns of ICDS workers and ensuring that their voices are effectively represented before the concerned authorities.
The programme concluded with a pledge to work collectively for the welfare, dignity, and empowerment of ICDS workers and helpers across Baramulla district.
