Dear Dad 💝

Although you are no longer with us, your memory lives on in the hearts of those who loved you. You were a kind, loving, and supportive father, and your presence in our lives will be deeply missed.

You were a guiding light, a source of inspiration, and a pillar of strength to us all. You taught us the importance of hard work, determination, and perseverance. Your love, patience, and unwavering support helped shape us into the people we are today.

We are grateful for the time we had with you, and we cherish the memories we shared. Your legacy will continue to live on through your children, and all those whose lives you touched.

Rest in peace, dear father. You will always be remembered with love and gratitude.

With deep love and regards.

Equality of mankind🙏

Equality and brotherhood of mankind: Since about 1499, the Sikh Gurus have emphasised the conceptof the equality of mankind in the sacred verses found in the Sikh holy scripture, Sri Guru Granth Sahib. Guru Nanak says in Japji Sahib: "Accept all humans as your equals, and let them be your only sect" (Japji 28), and
Guru Gobind Singh tell the world: 'manas ki jat sabhe eke paihcanbo recognise all of mankind as a single caste of humanity"

Sri Guru Granth Sahib promotes the concept of
equality by highlighting the fact that we are made of the same flesh, blood and bone and we have the same light of God with us Soul. Our building bricks are the same:

There is only one breath; all are made of the same clay; the light within all is the same.

The One Light pervades all the many and various beings.

This Light intermingles with them, but it is not diluted or obscured.

By Guru's Grace, I have come to see the One. I am a sacrifice to the True Guru. (3) (SGGS p96)

He is within see Him outside as well;
there is no one, other than Him.

As Gurmukh, look upon all with the single eye of
equality;

in each and every heart, the Divine Light is contained. ((2)) (SGGS p599)

The following lines from SGGS explain about the importance of treating every person as an equal:

They look upon all with equality, and recognize the Supreme Soul,

they are the most exalted and acclaimed people. (2) (SGGS p446)

The God-conscious being is always unstained, like the sun,

which gives its comfort and warmth to al.
The God-conscious being looks upon all alike, like the wind,

which blows equally upon the king and the poor beggar.(SGGS p272)

Baba Sheikh Farid and the thief

A thief once entered the house of Sheikh Farid Ji's mother to steal. On beginning his operations he lost his sight. He then cried out that there must be some saint or miracle- worker present. He vowed that, if his lost sight were restored, he would renounce thieving and become a good person and muslim. When Sheikh Farid Ji arose at night to pray, he told his servant to fetch water for his abdulations. The servant saw the blind thief standing helpless on the floor, and informed his master. The thief prayed for forgiveness, and promised that, if he recovered his sight, he would renounce his evil ways. Upon this Sheikh Farid Ji prayed for him; he recovered his sight, and became a devout follower of Sheikh Farid Ji.

Benti Chaupai

Benti Chaupai "Chaupai sahib" is a Bani
composed by tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

This bani is present in Charitar 404 of Dasam Granth in Bani Ath Pakhyan Chairtar Likhyatey.This Bani isone of the five Banis recited by the initiated Sikhevery morning. It is also a part of evening prayer of the Sikhs called Rehras sahib.

The Benti Chaupee can be read at any time during
the day to provide protection, positive focus and energy. It is short composition which usually takes less than about 5 minutes to recite at a slow pace;
it is written in simple Punjabi language and can be easily understood by most speakers of this language.

Chaupai is the short name for the Gurbani whose full name is Kabiobach Bainti Chaupai.This composition is part of the second most important Sikh Holy Book called the Dasam Granth. The Bani comes after the section called Charitropakhyan. Many "charitars" ( tricks, deceptions) of the world are shown in Charitropakhyan. Charitars highlight negativee energies that can be found on earth. After composing Charitars, the tenth master composed the section that includes this particular bani. It is an Ardas 'request' , 'sincere plea' to God for protection.

Method and Purpose

This bani is recited every morning by devoted Sikhs.
It also forms part of the evening prayer called the
Rehras Sahib, which Sikhs recite every evening.

The Bani offers protection and security and many
Sikhs recite this Bani to gain spiritual safety and
defence from external and internal enemies, worries
and afflictions.

The Gurmukhi text is very powerful and gives one self confidence and an upbeat feeling. This Bani gives one the feeling of reliability and dependability on the Lord. If one has negative feelings and a lack of confidence in the future, one should recite this Bani to get an instant boost.

🙏
khalsa Akaal purakh ki fauj ||
Khalsa is God's Army

pragattiou khhaalasaa pramaatham kee mauj ||
It's sustained by the Will of the Almighty

jab lag khhaalasaa rehae niaaraa ||
While the Khalsa remains pure

thab lag thaej keeo mai(n) saaraa ||
I will give it all my strength

jab eih gehai biparan kee reeth ||
When they mimic the habits of others

mai(n) n karo(n) ein kee pratheeth ||
I will not offer it my assistance.

Guru Gobind Singh ji has very clearly set the mission for the Sikhs to tread this unique path.The Khalsa is to serve all the peoples of the World - only then can it be Akal Purakh ki Fauj. When the Khalsa starts serving the needs of a few, or starts being concerned only with itself, it will fail in its duties as set out by Guru Gobind Singh ji.
