The aim of TKR is to create a connection between a commoner and higher up. TKR will act as a link between people and government by reporting the stories of a common person and his/her issues. Our's is an one on one platform where a common people can pitch their voice and will be assured that their voices are heard. We will give them access to our portal to report themselves so that they are heard
at higher level. TKR will a new twist to the concept of citizen journalism in Kashmir by directly involving the people in our initiative. The concept behind open source journalism is providing a place to people where they can speak their heart out, present their views and opinions freely and in unbiased way. TKR will be more of a problem sharing place where people would express themselves or their grievances or problems whatsoever. So, in a way we can say that we will try to act as a bridge between administration and the public. TRK is a grass root publication - where the real reporters will be people. People will be our contributors, content writers and source generators. We will also provide a discussion platform to our contributors or content sharers as well through social media. Our vision of The Kashmir Reach is to create a "reach" between government-public and public-government in the state in an unprecedented way thereby redefining the media mainstream. Our vision is also to strive hard to provide readers purely with the news related to their issues. We want to propagate the concept of grass root journalism in Kashmir so that every news, every event, every action, every person, every detail gets a coverage.
